I don't know if it's because of her tummy ache or because of her short-lived nap this afternoon, but my sweet girl actually fell asleep on my lap right after dinner tonight. Now this is what I call "Mommy Heaven." I am just not sure that there are many things that rank above having your baby cuddle up in your lap and fall asleep.
I'm fairly sure that even as an adult I wouldn't mind her cuddling up with me for a sleep. It makes me think of that wonderful tearjerker or a book, Love You Forever.
Goodness, I love my sweet girl.

HEAVEN INDEED!!! Thats the best! Kinda like when my little guy gets hurt and wants me to kiss and hug all over him. I secretly like it for a minute. is that cruel? haha I'll take what I can get. Snuggles are the best!
Jack has never been a fall asleep on your lap kind of child so that does look nice.
haha... i noticed the same thing shea did! you have that cool definition around the tops of your shoulders!
and yes, there is NOTHING better than a cuddlebug in your arms. i don't get much of that anymore.

I agree! There is nothing better. And so rare with toddlers! And Love You Forever is my favorite! But I can't read it to G. He always asks "Why you crying mommy?". I just can't help it!
