Alright Moms, How Do You Pamper Yourself?

Don't be too jealous but I'm also a lucky lady because I got to spend an evening with the ladies of Mile High Mama's and Mom it Forward Colorado for some pampering last week at Sephora in Boulder. Yay for #gnopamper! Yay for Haircuts! Yay for getting out of the house and feeling pretty!

Okay now it's your turn...spill the beans!

9 share your thoughts with me:

A monthly massage and a movie outing 1-2 times a month with girlfriends. I also go to lunch at least once a month ALONE and read a book while I eat.

Lunch all by yourself is definitely pampering. It would be nice to go to a restaurant without having to clean up after a toddler or try to keep someone else entertained.

GNO for sure. My friends mum takes a group of us out my best friend, her sister and then a friend each.

The GNO's are the best, no kids, always very grown up places and I never have to pay. They are always very indulgent and there are always plenty of laughs.

catherine... YOUR HAIR!!!!!!!!!!! it is so gorgeous. So sexy and sassy and CHIC!

now, about me... i used to go get pedicures on a regular basis, but stopped. i did go get one while i was waiting for moody's tire to get fixed and it was heavenly. now that my kids are older, i do have a lot of alone time and am very good about napping when i want and relaxing when i want, but i don't know if i ever really stop to savor it and really zone out and soak up the pampering. i need to figure out a way to get my mind to play along so i am not just spending money on the physical perks but end up staying stressed.

Deb, I think that naps are definitely a way to pamper yourself. I have trouble getting my brain to stop moving even when I am trying to take a break, because of this I really want a hairdresser that will just leave me alone and cut my hair. Enough with the small talk about my husband, daughter, job etc, I go to get my haircut to have some relaxation and NOT think about all that.

Spicymom, going to the gym is quite the luxury isn't it? Some days there is no better way to pamper yourself then to get your heart rate up and sweet out all your stress.

I love the new haircut! I think you wore your hair curly both times I saw you this weekend.

I don't pamper myself enough but I love getting massages (would be nice if I did it more than once a year) and getting a salon haircut. The extra money for the haircut kills me but it is so relaxing and turns out so nice I love it!
