I think the world of sweet potatoes. I love the color, the taste and the healthiness of them. For Madeline sweet potatoes are hit and miss. One day she likes them and the next she’s not a fan. I think a lot of it has to do with the way I serve them. One way she loves sweet potatoes is wrapped up in a burrito. Especially when she gets to make the burrito herself. Since she is in school she doesn’t get to make her own lunches all that often but when she does she

I’m about to lay some truth out for you. Cooking just isn’t as fun any more. Wait, let me back up. Cooking is fun. I love cooking. A five-year-old, a seven-month-old, a tight night time schedule with a small window between school pick-up and bedtime, homework and all the things, just All. The. Mmmm. Mmm. Mmmm. Fun and delicious things happen when you let your imagination run

We especially like National (fill in the blank with a particular food) Days that include restaurants, stores and shops giving out free food. But really how do you celebrate a day like National Pancake Day when you would rather not hang out at a crazy busy IHOP waiting for a table and then waiting for some
